This Program is designed for drivers seeking a Class A or Class B CDL for the first time and have some previous experience and do not intend on operating Class 8 Big Rigs.
Program starts every Monday at our Hudson Classroom, 1301 Gateway Circle.
This is a 70 hour Program and can be completed in less than two weeks for drivers that have previous experience backing trailers (Class A) and some knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
Students must Pre-Register.
Prerequisites: Valid CDL Permit and Valid DOT Physical.
30 Hour Theory training must be completed prior to starting Practical Training.
Practical Training begins every Monday (excluding Holiday weeks).
Practical Training includes 8 hours of classroom, 8 hours of Range and Road BTW, and 24 hours of Observation time.
Practical Training provided from 8AM to 4:30PM for one week, Monday thru Friday.
Students must demonstrate Proficiency in compliance with Federal Regulations by the end of the 40 hour Practical Training to be eligible for a CDL Road Test.
CDL Road Test is provided on the Monday after completing the Practical Training.
Additional Charges are required for any additional training necessary to demonstrate proficiency.
